Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains the conditions under which refunds may be issued for purchases made through LaTeX to Word Converter (the "Service"), operated by Kyda Tech. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.
1. Nature of the Service
LaTeX to Word Converter is a digital service. Upon initiating a conversion, computing resources are consumed immediately to process your files. Because the service is delivered digitally and consumption begins at the time of the request, all sales are generally considered final once a conversion has been successfully completed.
2. No Refunds for Completed Conversions
We do not offer refunds for conversions that have been successfully completed and delivered. Once a converted DOCX file has been made available for download, the service has been rendered in full and the transaction is considered complete, regardless of whether you are satisfied with the formatting or output quality of the converted document.
3. Eligible Refund Circumstances
Refunds may be considered in the following limited circumstances:
- Failed conversions: If you were charged for a conversion that failed to complete due to a technical error on our end and no output file was delivered to you, you may be eligible for a full refund of the amount charged for that transaction.
- Duplicate charges: If you were charged more than once for the same conversion due to a billing error, you are entitled to a refund of the duplicate charge(s).
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, you must contact our support team within 7 days of the original transaction date. Requests submitted after this period will not be eligible for a refund. Please send your request to support@kyda.tech and include the following information:
- The email address associated with your purchase;
- A description of the issue;
- Any relevant transaction or order reference numbers.
We will review your request and respond within a reasonable timeframe. Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method.
5. Right to Deny Refund Requests
We reserve the right to deny refund requests that we determine, at our sole discretion, to be fraudulent, abusive, or in violation of our Terms of Service. This includes, but is not limited to, repeated refund requests, misuse of the Service, or attempts to obtain refunds for successfully completed conversions through false claims.
6. Subscriptions (Future)
If subscription-based plans are introduced in the future, a separate or updated refund and cancellation policy will apply to those plans. In general, subscription fees that have already been billed for the current billing cycle will not be refunded upon cancellation, unless otherwise stated in the subscription terms at the time of purchase. Any such policy will be clearly communicated before you subscribe.
